Our first Workaway stay on the South Island allowed us to meet Laurence from France and learn about sustainability while we contributed by pulling hundreds of thistles.

Milky River and Boulders
We were wowed by the milky blue water of the Hokitika Gorge, and then went on to, or should I say ONTO the Castle Hill boulders. Another surprise stop came earlier in the day - the beautiful mosaic labyrinth of Harihari.
